Passionate about helping patients and improving equity and accessibility to rheumatology services in Aotearoa.

About Tracey

Tracey completed her medical degree at the University of Auckland and her rheumatology training in Australia (Perth and Melbourne), gaining a Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2009.

She completed a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Statistics at the University of Melbourne during her rheumatology training and a post-graduate diploma in Musculoskeletal Medicine at the University of Otago with distinction. Not through with learning yet, Tracey is currently training in musculoskeletal ultrasound, which she enjoys using in her practice.

Tracey serves on the executive committee of the New Zealand Rheumatology Association, and is actively involved in advocacy and epidemiological research projects in rheumatology aimed at improving equity and accessibility to rheumatology services in New Zealand.

She is also an associate member of the Pacific Island Orthopaedic Association and enjoys teaching the rheumatology module to the Pacific Island Orthopaedic Trainees.

Outside of work, Tracey enjoys hiking, mountain biking, travelling and growing kiwifruit.
